Sylvia Staley, 99, a resident of Albuquerque since October 1990, died Saturday, September 1, 2007. She is survived by her sister, Esther Alberts; nieces, Carole Domres and husband, Ron and Nancy Reichard, all of Albuquerque; great-nieces and -nephews, Robert Domres and wife, Sherri of Albuquerque, Deborah Williamson and husband, Denny of TX, Linda Josephson and husband, Ray of Bosque Farms; and other relatives and friends. Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, David Staley in 1989. She was born in Norway on September 23, 1907 to Karl A. and Thora Edstrom and moved to the United States as a young girl. Cremation has taken place and no memorial service is planned. Interment of cremated remains will take place in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Chicago, IL.
