David O. Ortega was born November 15, 1953 in Leadville, Colorado. He passed away Thursday, August 30, 2007. David loved spending time with his family and friends and playing pool. He also enjoyed driving his truck and seeing the open road. David was preceded in death by his father, Frank Ortega and his brother, Frank Ortega. David is survived by his three children, Theresa and husband Thomas, Patricia and David; his mother, Adelita Duarte; ex-wife, Vivian; brothers, twin brother, Daniel and wife Lillian, Martin, Steve and wife Melissa; three grandchildren, Andrew, Adriana and Estevan; three sisters, Christine and husband John, Donna and husband Arturo, and Doris; sister-in-law, Glenda; three half-sisters; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved and will miss him. A Visitation will be held in the Chapel of Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW., on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST.
