Raymond W. Baca was born June 30, 1926 in Colmor, NM and passed on August 26, 2007. Raymond was a 22 year Navy Veteran and served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. After retirement from the Navy, he worked with Kemper Insurance Co. where he later retired as West Coast Nuclear Inspector Specialist. In 1990 he moved to Albuquerque and spent summers in Camp Nelson, CA. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; sons, Gene and wife, Randa Baca, and Douglas Gonzales; daughter, Donna Jones of Massachusetts; grandchildren, Michael and Rick Patterson, Karen Walker, Patricia and Kasey Baca; sister, Maria Gonzales and brother-in-law, Jose; and many beloved nephews and nieces as well as family from New Mexico, California, and Colorado. Memorial Services will begin with viewing at French Mortuary Westside Chapel on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. A Mass will take place at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Pallbearers will be John and Chuck Cala, Mark Gonzales, Randy Warrick, Silas Pacheco, and Shawn Warrick.
