Frank A. Chavez, our beloved father and grandfather, went to be with his savior and Lord, Jesus Christ on August 23, 2007. He was preceded in death by his loving wife and lifelong partner, Mrs. Eloiza T. Chavez. He is survived by his loving immediate children, Leo, Frank Jr., Maria, Dale, Agnes, Gene, Juanita, James, Evelyn, Ana, Lisa, and Regina. In addition to his children Mr. Chavez and their respected spouses, Mr. Chavez is survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Chavez was born at the Tule Ranch, Torrance County, NM on September 21, 1915; Mr. Chavez was married on November 27, 1939 to Mrs. Eloiza T. Chavez of Chili, NM. They celebrated their 60th Anniversary in 1999. Mr. Chavez's life and passion was his family, his ranchito and his devotion to the Lord. Mr. Chavez was a great story teller and will be greatly missed by those who knew him. Visitations will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2007 between 6:00-7:00 p.m. at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Final visitations will be held on Monday, August 27, 2007 between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. also at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be recited at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Raul Chavez, Adan Salas, Paul Chavez, Larry Lovato Jr., Jacob Martinez, and Russell Bustamante.
