Stephen Feaster passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at his home in Albuquerque. He was born December 3, 1946 in Wichita, KS to J. D. and Maxine Feaster. Stephen was a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy with a degree in aeronautical engineering. He served his country as an F-111 combat pilot in Viet Nam. After his military service, he joined NASA as a research pilot and flew almost every aircraft that NASA operates. He is survived by his wife, Jan; sons: Max, Carl, and Daniel; his father, JD Feaster and wife, Maurine; and brother, Philip and wife, Kathy. Stephen was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Feaster. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2007, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at a later date at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the hospice care organization in your community.
