Daniel William Metcalf Sr., 80, passed away on August 2, 2007, after a long illness. Daniel was born in Lordsburg, NM, on October 9, 1926. He returned to New Mexico and has resided there since the early 1960's. Daniel was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth L. Metcalf in 1986. He is survived by seven children, Virginia, Sharon, Daniel Jr., Thomas, Kimberly, Timothy, and Fran Garloff; numerous grandchildren and three siblings, Robert, Kenneth and Nancy. Daniel's life will be celebrated at a Memorial Service at St. Lukes Lutheran Church in Albuquerque on Friday, August 10, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. A private interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
