Jean F. Casaus, 87 of Las Cruces, NM quietly entered eternal life Wednesday, August 1, 2007 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family. Jean is survived by her children, Frank Casaus (Lisa) of Los Angeles, CA; Richard Casaus (Isabel) of Las Cruces, NM; Don Casaus (Christine) of Edgewood, NM; Mike Casaus (Sylvia) of Silver City, NM, Jeanette Casaus of Las Cruces, NM and Kathie Casaus of Albuquerque, NM; 18 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Bennie in 2001. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 5, 2007 at Getz Funeral Home Chapel where the Prayer Vigil will follow at 7:00 p.m.. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 6, 2007 at St., Genevieve's Catholic Church, 100 S. Espina. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Garden Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Ricardo Bauza. A luncheon will be held immediately after the services at the VFW Post 3242, 2001 N. Mesquite.
