John Alexander Sanchez passed away on August 2, 2007 after a two year battle with cancer. John was born on August 10, 1950 in Albuquerque. John was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. He loved watching them during the season. He was so excited to see them play in person this past year. All those that knew him will miss his gentle and loving personality. He enjoyed life and always had a positive attitude. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. John is survived by his wife, Lita Sanchez; his mother, Esther Padilla; sister, Jane VanDamme; stepchildren, Cindy Felix and husband, Mark, Valerie Kerr and husband, Jim, Janet Maldonado and husband, Joey, Randy Wildenstein, Gail Chavez and husband, Jay; grandchildren, Justin, Nikki, Jillian Felix, Miles and Mackenzie Kerr, Joseph and Brittany Maldonado, Shealin and Skyler Wildenstein, Genevieve and Alex Chavez; nieces and nephews, Richard Garcia and wife, Marcella, David Garcia and wife, Carmen, Bernadette Travis and wife, Steve, and Christian Ortiz and husband, Matt. He was preceded in death by his father, Alex Sanchez. A Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 5th and a Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 6th at Daniels Family Funeral Services Northeast Chapel, 7601 Wyoming NE.
