Rhoda Pauline Komen passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at the age of 85. She is survived by her five children, Diane Martin, Mary Komen, Pete Komen III, Janet East and Brian Komen; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and true love, Peter John Komen, Jr. She also leaves behind her beloved black Lab, Bonnie. Rhoda lived in Albuquerque for 53 years, and loved the beautiful blue skies and the Sandia Mountains. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
