Ida C. (Mom) Rombold, 98, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 30, 2007. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 3, 1909 and has been a resident of Albuquerque since 1972. She was the oldest living member of Metropolitan Community Church of Albuquerque where she was a member since 1982. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Sr.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Paul and George Jr.; her daughter, Dolores Stream and husband, Larry; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; many friends and a large extended church family. Services will be held at Metropolitan Community Church of Albuquerque, 1103 Texas NE, with the Rev. Judith Maynard officiating on Saturday, August 4, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. There will be a viewing one hour before the Service. Interment will follow the Service at Sunset Memorial Park and there will be refreshments served at the church after the burial.
