Obituary for NOLAND

Miles Burnell Noland, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away Thursday, July 26, 2007 at his home. He had been a resident of Albuquerque for 45 years, after moving here from Kentucky in 1962. Miles owned auto repair shops in Albuquerque and Belen. He is survived by his wife, Leona Faye Noland; step-children, Paulette Maxwell, Pam and husband, Ernest Velasquez, Alan and wife, Alice Tennison, all of Albuquerque, Patricia Maxwell of Joplin, MO, Pat Barnes of Canyon, TX, and Lorraine Tennison of Fort Collins, CO; 12 grandchildren, Kim Gallegos, Kristy Lopez, Gerred and Chad Woodard, Cody and Savannah Velasquez, Matthew and John Tennison, Randy and David Barnes, and Taylor and Leah Reid; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; one brother, Obie Noland and wife, Betty of Irving, KY; sister-in-law, Faye Noland; cousin, Avis Nelson; and niece, Rhonda Anderson and husband, Larry of Jacksonville, FL. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Noland and brothers, Bobby and Morris Noland. Miles had many friends and coffee buddies that were valued. Services will be held Monday, July 30, 2007, 1:30 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Cremation will follow.
