Rita M. Mrs. Rita M. Garcia, 93, a resident of Belen, New Mexico passed away on July 27, 2007, and is now in heaven with our Lord. Mrs. Garcia is the beloved mother to Corine Sanchez, Elia Salas, Lawrence (Larry) Padilla and wife, Priscilla. Mrs. Garcia is also survived by her sister, Stella Cordova; 26 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Garcia was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation for Mrs. Garcia will be Monday evening in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. Final visitation will be Tuesday morning from 8:30 until 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with Mass of Christian to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Jessie Padilla, Everett Padilla, Desi Abeita, Robert Salas, Robert Sanchez and David Sanchez. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW 243-7861
