Louis Candelaria was born August 21, 1923 in Albuquerque and passed away Friday, July 13, 2007 in Albuquerque. He is survived by his wife, Lucia F. Candelaria; her daughter, Karen and her husband, Michael Bybee; grandchildren, Olea, Elizabeth, Celestial and Michelle; and six great-grandchildren; his sister, Eva Velarde; niece, Anita Delgado and her husband, Danny; nephew, Robert Velarde and wife, Judy. Louis retired from the USAF after 30 years of service. He served during WWII, Berlin Air Lift, Korea and Vietnam. Services will be Wednesday, July 18, 2007, 11:30 a.m. at French Mortuary Lomas Blvd. Chapel. Interment with full military honors will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
