Manuel Jose Benavidez was born February 22, 1935 in Cuba, NM. He passed away Friday, July 13, 2007 in Albuquerque, NM. Manuel was preceded in death by his parents, Filomeno and Reducinda Benavidez; brothers, Raynell, Bonifacio, Avariso, Jose Maria and Bernave and his son, Manuel Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Delia Marcial of California; one sister, Erlinda Martinez of Albuquerque; two grandchildren, Sammy and Michelle; three great-grandchildren, Manuel, Alexis and Samantha; other nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends who loved and will miss him. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Santo Nino de Atocha Catholic Church in La Jara, NM., on Thursday, July 19, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Parish Cemetery.
