MARGARET GIRON Margaret Giron Padilla (The Most Beautiful) Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and daughter went home to be with the Lord on June 28, 2007. She passed away while vacationing at her family's favorite resort in Santa Barbara, CA with her husband, sons, father, grandson, and daughter-in-law by her side. Maggie was born on August 5, 1941 in Polvadera, NM and was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM. She was preceded in death by father, Pilar Giron and brother, Steve Eddie Giron. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Louis D, Padilla; her son, Gary Eric Padilla and wife, Lillian; beloved daughter and best friend, Elaine Padilla; son, Edmund Padilla; grandson, Jason Padilla and Erica; along with great-granddaughter, Adelynn Padilla. She is survived by her mother, Andrea B. Giron; and her brothers and sisters: Bernie Giron and wife, Doris, Victor Giron, Christine Baca, Angel Hall, Tina Patton and husband, Dan, Rosie Giron Maron and husband, Barry, Randy Giron and wife, Kathy, Rick Giron and wife, Gloria, Yolanda Giron, Pilar D. Giron and wife, Felicia, Phillip Giron, and Ramey Giron and wife, Aime. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and relatives. Maggie retired form USDA Forest Service in August 2004 after 31 years of service, Maggie lived life to the fullest and enjoyed a good party. She was a loving and generous person who was willing and able to help anyone in need. She loved to cook, dance and spend time with family, friends and especially enjoyed being with her mother on Sunday for brunch along with all who wished to join in. Services will be held at Queen of heaven Catholic Church at 5310 Claremont NE. Services will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a Rosary Service to be followed by the Funeral Mass immediately thereafter.
