Hamilton Straughan, 48, of Hale Center passed away Thursday, June 29, 2007 at Legions of the Plains Nursing Home in Hale Center, TX. Service will be a private family ceremony. Arrangements are by Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview, TX. Hamilton was born April 3, 1959 to Paul William Straughan and Marjory Ellen Coleman Straughan of Vaughn, NM. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Vaughn, NM. Mr. Straughan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Delmar Coleman and Louise Hunt Coleman of Rocheport, MO and Archie and Sara "Sally" Straughan of Vaughn, NM. Hamilton is survived by his parents, Paul and Marjory Straughan of Hale Center, TX; two sisters, Nanci Saunders and husband Steve of Midland and Sara Pinard of Hale Center; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
