Obituary for PETERSON

Lester Warren "Pete" Peterson, 96, passed away June 16, 2007 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born July 28, 1910 in Philadelphia, PA, to Warren and Margaret Peterson, and was a resident of Albuquerque since 2001. Pete was a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge and the United Autoworkers Union, as well as a founder and board member of Fabulous Felines Cat Rescue Charity. He is survived by two daughters, Merry Stubblefield and her husband, William of Albuquerque, NM, and Patricia Weir and her husband, Arthur of Philadelphia, PA; five grandchildren, Patty Lynn LaBadie, Richard LaBadie, Glenn LaBadie, Patti Gail Weir, and Arthur Weir; and many great- and great-great-grandchildren. Pete was preceded in death by his wife of many years, Bertha J. Peterson. He leaves behind his dear feline companion, Anastasia. Pete was a gentle, soft-spoken man whose generosity of spirit touched everyone he met. A Memorial Service will be held at the Masonic Temple Lodge #6, 3801 Osuna Rd. NE, Albuquerque, (505) 345-2442 on Sunday, June 24, 2007, at 1:00 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fabulous Felines Cat Rescue Charity, P. O.
