Betty Lou Peterson, 81, a resident of Albuquerque, went to be with her Lord Monday, June 11, 2007. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, George Peterson; children, Paul Peterson and wife, Jane, of Grand Junction, CO, Mark Peterson and wife, Melissa, of Dallas, TX, Suzanne Garcia and husband, Leonard, of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Hailey and Callie Peterson, Holly Wesson, Peter, Karen and Hannah Garcia; sister, Mary Ann Nesseth. In the 1940s, Betty Lou worked five years as an order analyst for National Tea Co. She was a homemaker and avid golfer. Betty Lou also loved gardening and was very dedicated to her faith. She loved working with the children in her Sunday school class. Betty Lou was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Services will be held Friday, June 15, 2007, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel.
