J. Robert "Tex" Windham, 85, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, May 26, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Windham of the family home; son Don Windham and wife Jeanne; daughter Louise Payne and husband, Roger; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Betty Aves and a brother-in-law, Rev. J. Noble Atkins. Mr. Windham served his country during WWII by serving in the U.S. Navy. He retired from Sandia National Laboratories after many years of service. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 31, 2007, 11:00 a.m. at St. Johns United Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona NE.
