Alex R. Tafoya, 74, passed away May 26, 2007. Alex proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps. and had a great love for the outdoors where he spent his time fishing and hunting. He is survived by his sisters, Delia Cordova and Eloisa Martinez; brothers, Tito Tafoya and Juan Tafoya; many nieces and nephews; and best friend and fishing buddy, Gene Valdez and wife, Bertha. A Rosary for Alex will be recited Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 4, 2007 at St. Therese Church at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Arrangements by: Salazar & Sons Mortuary 400 Third St. SW 247-4124
