Gene Templeman, 81, a resident of Albuquerque since 1967, passed away at his home Monday, May 21, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie; children, Linda Velarde and husband, Steve, Rick Templeman and wife, Priscilla, Debbie and husband, Jerry, and Rick Blaney and wife, Sheri; nine grandchildren, Manuel, Brandy, Mandy, Yvonne, Candace, Tonya, Travis, Trina, and Kurt; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Jones, Peggy Gardner, and Judy Trumbull. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Opal; and brother, Billy. Services will be held Friday, May 25, 2007, 11:00 a.m., at Berean Baptist Church, 3800 Eubank NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
