Paul Padilla, 71, a longtime resident of Mesita, born in Belen, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2007. He is survived by his children, Raymond Padilla, Roberta Cross, Rebecca and David Gutierrez; nine grandchildren, Raymond, Michael Paul, Brian, Jacqueline, Jennifer, David, Daniel, Rachel, Jake; two great-grandchildren, Andrew and Austin; brother, Joe Padilla; sister, Reyna Diaz; and nieces, nephews, and friends. Mr. Padilla was preceded in death by his wife, Ailine. He was loved and will be greatly missed by many. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, Saturday, May 19, 2007, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Church Services will be held Sunday, May 20, 2007, 2:00 p.m., at Pajuate Catholic Church.
