Robert G. Norton, age 73, of Albuquerque, passed away May 18, 2007. Bob was born in Dearborn, MI, April 5, 1934. He was a plumber and pipefitter and a member of NM Pipe Trades and Plumbers/Pipefitters Union. He was an avid skier, bicycler and dancer. Robert is survived by his wife, Irene Hansen-Norton; son, Robert Scott and his wife, Pamela of Westland, MI; son, Martin Scott and his wife, Julie of Lake, MI; daughter, Janice Crider and her husband, Edward of Powder Springs, GA; son, Allen Scott of Temple, GA; daughter, Joyce Krachie and her husband, Michael of Gregory, MI; daughter, Michelle Kawano and her husband, Gary of Lakewood, CO; daughter, Monique Norton-Martin and her husband, John of Hayden, CO; son, Ronald Norton and his wife, Gina of Steamboat Springs, CO. He is also survived by his extended children, Teresa Starr of Albuquerque, Donald Lee Slack and his wife, Heather of Albuquerque, Gina Encee and her husband, Joe of Rio Rancho; brother, John Norton and his wife, Barbara of Phoenix, AZ; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his eight children, Delores Norton; parents, Ralph and Bertha Norton; two sisters, Genevieve Wickham and Jean McEachern. A Memorial Rosary will be recited Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary Westside Chapel. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church with ennichement to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
