Seymour "Sid" Shiplacoff, 78, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2007. Sid was born October 26, 1928 the son of Samuel and Tillie Helfand Shiplacoff in Brooklyn, NY. He was retired from the Albuquerque Publishing Company. Sid is survived by his wife, Marie Fay; children, Barbara and Pamela; step-children, Arlene and Armando and wife Pan; grandson, Erick; one brother, Harry and wife Zelda; and one sister, Shimy. The family wishes to thank Robin and family for their assistance to the family. A Graveside Service will be held today, Friday, May 18, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho, with Dawn Caress officiating.
