Francisca Duran Williams, 69, a native New Mexican and resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2007. She is survived by her husband, Charles S. Williams; her children, Tom McBride and wife Jean, Tanya McBride and fiance Roy White Eagle, Tamra McBride and fiance Ed McIlvain, and Toby McBride and wife Ellen; grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob and Carter McBride; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Corina Duran; and former husband, Dr. Max McBride Jr. Frances worked as a Registered Nurse for over 35 years after graduating from the first Nursing School class of the University of New Mexico in 1959. She also had a master's degree in Education. She retired from Albuquerque Public Schools as a school nurse after 22 years of service. Most recently, she was employed in home health care services which she found especially rewarding. She will be remembered for her generosity, humor, and work ethic. Services will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2007 10:00 a.m. at Second Presbyterian Church, 812 Edith Blvd., NE. Interment will immediately follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
