Eva Darlene Smith, 65, of Sandia Park, NM passed away Thursday, May 3, 2007 at her home in Sandia Park, NM, with her loving family beside her. Eva was born August 18, 1941 in Clovis, NM, to James Joseph and Mittie (May) Rogers. Eva married Donald E. Smith on August 21, 1958. She was preceded in death by her father and son, Donald James "DJ" Smith in 2001. Eva is survived by her mother, Mittie Eva Killingsworth of Clovis, NM; husband, Donald E. Smith of Sandia Park, NM; sons, Terry Wayne Smith and wife Margarita of Tijeras, NM; Jerry Dwayne Smith of Sandia Park, NM; daughter, Patricia Rael and husband Florian of Moriarty, NM; brother, Jimmie Rogers; sister, Nancy Strmiska; and four grandchildren. Graveside Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 10:00 a.m., at the Mountain Valley Cemetery in Edgewood, NM. Mack Barnard will be officiating.
