ERNEST GREGORIO Mr. Ernest Gregorio Lueras, 82, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on May 2, 2007 and is now in heaven with our Lord. Ernest was a loving father, stepfather, and grandfather. Ernest is survived by his daughter, Randa A. Silva and husband, Paul; sons, Ernest Lueras and wife, Julie, John Lueras and Lisa Torres; step-daughter, Sherry Brooks and husband, Richard; three grandsons, Nathan, Danny, and Brandon Lueras; two step-granddaughters, Sherice and Sherele Brooks; a great-great-granddaughter, Savannah Lueras; sister-in-law, Mary DeLuna and husband, Eddie; his closest cousin, Tony Sanchez; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Lueras was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the United States Marines Corps serving in World War II along with his late uncle, Joe Sanchez and his cousin, Tony Sanchez who he met in Guam in 1944. Visitation for Ernest will be Monday evening in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. with Gabriella Nieto. Final visitation will be Tuesday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, 300 Mildred NW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. by Father Ron Carrillo, S.F. A Committal Service will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. with Military Honors by the United States Marine Corps. Pallbearers will be Paul Silva, Ernest Lueras, John Lueras, Nathan Lueras, Danny Lueras, and Brandon Lueras. Honorary pallbearer will be Richard Brooks.
