Obituary for MCENTEE

Bernard E. "Mac" McEntee, 67, of Albuquerque, died May 1, 2007, from a sudden heart attack while doing what he loved best, watching his grandchildren play baseball. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary; his sons, Mike McEntee and wife, Michelle and Pat McEntee and wife, Susan. He is also survived by grandchildren, Brianna, Colin, Liam, and Jordan; and his brother, Bill McEntee. Mac retired from the F.A.A. after over 30 years of service as an Air Traffic Controller. He served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force and 'fiercely defended the Azores' during the "Lebanon Crisis". A Rosary will be recited Sunday, 3:00 pm at The Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE. An Irish Wake will follow. Mass will be celebrated Monday, 9:00 am at the Shrine of St. Bernadette with Fr. Tom Zotter, Celebrant. Interment will be in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM.
