Alfred Torrez. In Loving Memory of our father, Alfred Torrez, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2007. He is survived by his loving family; six daughters, Georgia Benavidez, Jeanette Moody, Lorraine Ortiz, Donna Torrez, Elizabeth Sanchez, and Mary Louise Torrez-Tina; one son, Alfred Jr.; five brothers, Luis, Manuel, Joe, Johnny, and Larry Torrez; one sister, Ruth Herrera; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends who loved and will miss him dearly. Services will be held at San Jose de Duranes Mission, 2001 Los Luceros Rd. NW. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronald Benavidez, Donald Benavidez, David Torrez Jr., Michael Torrez, Richard Torrez, and Adam Torrez. Honorary Pallbearers are Christopher Torrez and Mark Monk.
