Obituary for JIRON

CHARLES Mr. Charles Jiron, a resident of Isleta Pueblo, passed away on April 29, 2007, after a brief illness. Mr. Jiron is survived by his wife of 67 years, Reycita Jiron; three daughters, Mary Ethel Trujillo and husband, Glenn, Elizabeth Johnson and husband, Wilbert (dec.), Mary Evelyn Jiron-Belgarde and husband, Richard LoRe; daughter-in-law, Gundi Jiron; son / grandson, Daniel Joseph Lucero; two sisters, Filomena Embry and Lillian Chavez; two brothers, Alfred Tenorio and Stanley Tenorio; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews all of whom he loved dearly. Charles touched many people; he became a friend to everyone and will always be remembered for his quick wit, humor, and loving ways. He will be greatly missed. All services will be held at the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Isleta Pueblo, beginning with a viewing on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Thursday 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Isleta Cemetery.
