Ramona Roybal, age 77, went to be with her Lord on April 26, 2007. She was born on August 31, 1929 in Pecos, NM to Manuel and Guadalupe Martinez. Ramona loved to decorate and was a talented Artist who loved to oil paint, she designed her own clothing, floral arrangements, loved cake decorating, and had a beautiful backyard full of flowers and water fountains. Ramona married Evaristo on February 9, 1947 and they both loved to travel and took many cruises, they enjoyed spending time together. Ramona helped Evaristo in their family business of taking care of taxes and bookkeeping. They were the love of each other's lives and now they are back together forever. Ramona is survived by her two children, her daughter, Patricia of Albuquerque, NM and her son, Michael Roybal of Questa, NM. She is also survived by three brothers, Alfonso Martinez and wife, Teddie of Taos, NM, Arcy Martinez of Albuquerque, NM, and Rubel Martinez and wife, Irene of Grants, NM; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Evaristo F. Roybal; her parents; and three brothers, Manuel, Gene, and Sylviano Martinez The Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 4:00 p.m., French Mortuary - Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. A Memorial Mass will be on Friday, May 4, 2007 at 9:00 a.m., The Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School NE, with Father Tom Persaresi as the Celebrant.
