Iva Catherine Glass, 96, of Satanta, KS, and former Albuquerque, NM resident, passed away, Tuesday April 24, 2007, at the Satanta Long Term Care Unit, where she had been a resident. The daughter of Clarence and Elsie (Koch) Crouch, was born March 23, 1911, in Ansley, NE. She married Chester O. Glass in 1930 and he preceded her in death in 1979. She was a dietician, florist, seamstress and homemaker. She loved her family and enjoyed being with them. She was a member of the Pleasant Prairie Church of God, Satanta, KS. Survivors include two daughters, Frances Mowdy, Conroe, TX, Sue Logsdon, Portales, NM; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; three great-great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Betty Felts; a brother, Wilson Crouch; and a sister, Leona Crouch. Services will be held Monday, April 30, 2007, 2:00 p.m. at New Beginnings Church of God, 3601 Montgomery NE. A viewing will take place one hour prior to the Service at the church.
