Obituary for WALKER

Norman Walker, 80, a resident of Albuquerque and formerly of Indianapolis, IN, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2007. He is survived by his wife 57 years, Myrtle Walker; daughter, Deborah Lister and husband, David; two grandchildren, Jason and Andrea; brothers, Kenneth Walker and wife, Mary, Walter Walker and wife, Myrtle, Thomas Walker and wife, Patsy Jo; sisters, Ruth Byers and husband, Fred, and Wilma Dunnigan; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Walker and Ernest E. (Bud) Walker. Norman owned a body shop in Indianapolis for many years before moving to Albuquerque in 1966 where he opened a fast food restaurant until 1985. He retired to work on all types of cars as a hobby. Cremation has taken place and Graveside Services will be held on Friday, April 27, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
