James G. Culbertson, 80, born July 17, 1926 in Alamogordo, NM. A life long resident of New Mexico died at home on Friday, April 20, 2007. He is survived by his beloved wife, Alice-Louise, of the family home; daughter, Candy York and husband, Gale of Albuquerque; son, JW Culbertson and his wife, Kathy of Denver, Colorado; granddaughter, Emily Villas and husband, Ernie; granddaughter, Erin Spence; great-grand children, Brandon, Gregory, Rachel and Emma, all of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Culbertson and Myrtle White; his sisters, Thelma Culbertson and Bertha Alicia Wesley. He was a member of the Association of the United States Army and VFW. He enjoyed building and flying radio controlled aircraft. Services will be held at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, in Albuquerque, on Wednesday, April 25, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Animal Humane Association of New Mexico, 615 Virginia SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
