Jim A. Sanchez, 65, a resident of Albuquerque since 1967, died Monday, April 16, 2007. He is survived by his son, Steven Sanchez, wife, Robyn; grandson, Devon of Albuquerque; brother, Tony Sanchez of California; sisters, Ida Romero of Albuquerque and Eleanor Sanchez of Santa Fe; brother, Gil Sanchez of Santa Fe; and many nieces, nephews, and friends in New Mexico and other parts of the country. Mr. Sanchez was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Sanchez; parents, Arthur and Juanita Sanchez; and brother, Peter Sanchez. He had an extensive career in the Banking/Finance business after his military service in Vietnam. Mr. Sanchez was a devoted husband and father, and a loyal friend. He was generous, worked tirelessly for his family, and exemplified strength of character to anyone who came in contact with him. Rosary will be recited Sunday, April 22, 2007, 6:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Monday, April 23, 2007, 10:00 a.m., at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 1120 Canyon Road, Santa Fe, NM. Interment will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
