RICHARD BRETT In Loving Memory of Richard Brett Payne January 9, 1964 - April 18, 2007 Richard Brett Payne, 43, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully in his sleep from natural causes on Wednesday, April 18, 2007. He is survived by his father, Orville R. Payne; sisters, Vicki Martinez and husband, Jeff of Espanola, Christy Bridges and husband, Rocky of Farmington, Bridget Payne of Albuquerque; and brother, Tim Payne and wife, Michelle of Albuquerque. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many special friends. Richard was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Payne. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to many. Richard was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and was very happy when they won their "one for the thumb." He proclaimed to be an expert fisherman (actually he was pretty good)! He enjoyed cooking, bowling, and a good Jack and Coke. His family and friends will deeply miss his smile, sense of humor and general good will. A memorial service will be celebrated in Richard's honor on Sunday, April 22, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. at French Mortuary Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM.
