Finis Carol Cooper was born to Roscoe and Verna Cooper on May 21, 1924 in Hagerman, NM and he died April 17, 2007 in Las Cruces, NM. He was married to Anne Mueller in Albuquerque, NM on February 24, 1977 where they lived until moving to Las Cruces in 2004. He worked construction and owned and operated Rio Pipe and Ditch Co. He is survived by his wife, Anne of the home; and three children: Don Cooper and wife, Judy of Rowlett, TX, Sible Tharp and husband, William of Las Cruces, NM, and Kay Needham and husband, Jerry of Artesia, NM; grandchildren, Sharla Dibiase of Rowlett, TX, Don Cooper of Sachse, TX; Edie Tharp of Las Cruces, Lauri Figg of Clovis, NM, Wayne Needham of Canyon, TX, and Darren Needham of Amarillo, TX; and 11 great- grandchildren. He also is survived by three sisters: Ruby Martin of Sierra Vista, AZ, Lavada Wilde of Weed, NM, and Bonnie McEuen of Capitan, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, W.C. (Dub) Cooper; and a sister, Barbara Akers. Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 20, 2007, 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
