For the last 14 years, Judy has shared her heart and home with Howard Stapp. Howard and Judy have had a wonderful, warm and loving relationship. Howard has taken special care of Judy and shared her love of pets and football, both being avid Redskins fans. Judy was a very loving, caring and generous person. She was quite a beautiful child and adult. She was the artist of the family, with talents also in ballet and piano. Judy made friends with everyone she met and will be greatly missed. She attended school in Albuquerque, graduating from Highland High School in 1965. Then she attended Oklahoma State University, graduating in 1970, with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts. She also got a teaching certificate. Dad always said women should become teachers. After teaching school for a while in Denver, Judy became a stewardess for United Airlines based in Washington, D.C., from which she retired after 21 years. While in Roswell she worked with the Roswell Museum and Arts Center where she contributed her art to this institution in the form of puzzles for the instruction of student visitors. She also taught art classes for the City of Roswell. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to an animal rescue organization of your choice.
