Lee Ray Whipple, 49, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away. He is survived by his two sons, Freddy and Lee Ray; two grandchildren, Joshua and Isabella; his mother, Virginia W. Chavez; four sisters, Loureen and husband, Lloyd Wimberly, Lisa and husband, Bernie Salazar, Rebecca and husband, Gilbert Zapien, Antoinette Garcia; and one sister-in-law, Rebecca Garcia-Carrillo; two brothers, Gilbert and wife, Sandra Garcia, Peter and wife, Sophie Madrid; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded by his parents, Claudio and Francis Whipple; brother, Lawrence Garcia; and sister, Reyna Franchia. A Rosary and Mass will be held in his honor on Friday, April 13, 2007 at 10:15 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW. Albuquerque, NM. Honorary Pallbearer: Daniel Lopez.
