FRANK DENNIS NOVAK Frank Dennis Novak, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1960, died suddenly Wednesday evening, March 28, 2007. He is survived by his children, Dennis Novak of Homer, AK and Diane Novak of Denver, CO; sisters, Lorraine Sodd, Margaret Ignatowicz, both of New Brighton, MN, Dorothee Visintin of Decatur, IL, and Mary Ann Fellegy and husband, Dave of Minneapolis, MN; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives in Minnesota. Mr. Novak was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Evelyn in 1998; his parents, Frank and Anna Novak; and his brothers-in-law, John Sodd Jr., Paul Ignatowicz Sr. and Otto Visintin. He was born in Minneapolis, MN and resided there until 1951. Mr. Novak was a tool and dies design engineer and worked for various companies in Minneapolis, MN, Des Moines, IA, and Albuquerque retiring in 1982 from GTE Lenkurt. He served our country in the U.S. Navy from March 31, 1944 to December 20, 1945. Mr. Novak was a member of the Sandia Mountain Masonic Lodge #72 A.F. & A.M., had a Master Mason Degree from Lodge #93, and was a longtime member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. He was also a member of St. Timothy's Lutheran Church for over 40 years and a lifetime member of St. Mary's Orthodox Cathedral in Minneapolis, MN. Mr. Novak enjoyed outdoor activities such as camping and fishing and had an avid interest in golfing since working as a golf caddy in his teenage years. Services will be held Saturday, April 14, 2007, 11:00 a.m., at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, 211 Jefferson NE (One block North of Central and three blocks East of Washington).
