Marilea Bush, 63, passed away in the early morning on Tuesday April 11, 2007 surrounded by her husband and her children, after a 2-year courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Marilea was born on May 15, 1943 in Santa Fe, NM to Clarence Julius and June Thomas Muralter who preceded her in death. She graduated from Santa Fe High School in 1961. After raising her family, she worked in media and retail. She was employed at the Sun Country Section of the Professional Golf Association of America since 1990. She was honored by the Sun Country Section PGA with the 2006 Amateur of the Year award for her dedication and commitment to the game of golf and to the Junior PGA.
