Obituary for SALAZAR

Clodoveo (Claude) Salazar, 90, passed away on April 9, 2007. He was married to Adelaida (Ida) Salazar, who preceded him in death on April 11, 1995, after 60 years of marriage. A lifelong resident of New Mexico, he grew up in Ranchos de Taos, and then lived in Albuquerque for 52 years. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Margie Gutierrez and Virginia Salazar. He is survived by his children; Vicki Bolton and husband, Earl, Claude Jr. and wife, Dana, George and wife, Laura, John and wife, Debbie, Barbara Gould and husband, Patrick, and Phillip and wife, Carmen. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation with a public viewing will be on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Riverside Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo NE, starting at 3 p.m., followed by a Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral Service to be celebrated on Friday, April 13, 2007 at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 4th Street NW, at 9 a.m. Interment will follow the Service at the Sunset Memorial Cemetery, 924 Menaul NE. Pallbearers will be Pat Gould, Bill Gould, Earl Bolton, Andy Silva, Mel Velerio, and Juan Romero. Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy and Roger Silva.
