Tamara Jean Ortiz, 31, a resident of Albuquerque, NM since 1981, died April 4, 2007. She is survived by her mother, Betsy Hadley Everett of Albuquerque; father, William R. Ortiz of Albuquerque; step-father, Randy Everett of Albuquerque; brother, Victor Ruybalid of Chandler, AZ; half-brother, Richard Ortiz of Albuquerque; half-sister, Andrea Sweet of Albuquerque; grandparents, Frank and Jeanne Hadley of Albuquerque; uncles and aunts, Richard and Nancy Hadley of Eugene, OR, Joe and Francis Garcia, Jenny and Beto Fernandez, Jake and Robby Ortiz, Anthony Ortiz, Fred and Mary Ortiz, and Patsy and John Martinez of Albuquerque; numerous cousins, Megan Romero, Erin Schmitz, Lexi Geiger, David Standridge, Scott Standridge, Carol Garcia, Cindy Garcia, and Felicia Meyers. Tamara was preceded in death by her aunt, Peggy Standridge and her grandparents, Manuel and Rebecca Ortiz. Although Tamara had no family of her own, she was a wonderful loving daughter and aunt. She loved cats and books, and was a talented artist and soccer player. She was generous, kind, and insightful. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 11:00 a.m., at Sandia Presbyterian Church, 10704 Paseo del Norte NE.
