Nadine T. Martin, 77, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, April 8, 2007. She was born April 17, 1929 in Pardee, VA to Ulus and Sarah Thompson. She was married to Eugene Martin on December 29, 1952 in Norton, VA. Mrs. Martin retired from First National and First Security Banks of Albuquerque after many years of dedicated service. She was a current member of Calvary Chapel. She enjoyed traveling. She is survived by her niece, Joan R Dotson and husband, Bill of Indianapolis, IN; one brother, Lowell Thompson and wife, Claudene of Coeburn, VA; dear friend and special companion, Russell Barker of Albuquerque; and three nieces and one nephew. Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Martin on December 4, 1986 after 39 years of marriage; sister, Helen Fernandez; and brother, Elmo H. Thompson. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, April 12, 2007, 11:00 a.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, Wednesday, April 11, 2007, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Association, 9500 Montgomery NE, Suite 209, Albuquerque, NM 87111.
