Obituary for KELLER

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Wednesday April 11, 2007

Ann Eleanor Walsh Keller left us on April 2, 2007. She was born January 25, 1934 in Oakland, CA. Her parents Berdenia and John Walsh preceded her in death. She married Bill Keller on August 3, 1955. They settled in Albuquerque in 1970, and there raised their two sons, Eric and Lee. Ann worked for 30 years at Coronado Wrecking and Salvage, where she made many friends. She retired to enjoy gardening, cooking, and feeding the wild birds. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandson, Ian, the light of her life. Ann loved animals of every sort, and had a number of well-spoiled pets. She was an amazingly caring and giving person and all who knew her loved her. Though illness weakened her body, her mind spirit and loving heart never faltered. She is survived by her loving husband; and sons; her daughter-in-law Chami, grandson Ian, Baxter the dog; and several thousand wild birds. Remembrance Services to be held at the Veterans Memorial, 1100 Louisiana SE, Thursday, April 12, 2007 at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Animal Humane Society.
