Norman W. Scott, age 84 passed away on April 8, 2007 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born on August 30, 1922 to Andrew and Margaret Scott in Weymouth, MA. Norman proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. After his discharge, Norman came west to attend the University of Denver. While living in Denver, he met and married Merilu Parker in 1949, his wife of 49 years. They moved to Albuquerque in 1954, where he continued working as a traveling salesman; selling farm machinery. Norman started working for Sandia Labs in 1956 where he had a 28 year career in the security department. Norm's retirement was devoted to golf, church and family. He will always be missed and has been re-united with his wife, Merilu. Norman is survived by his daughter, Kim Isaac and her husband, Dennis, of San Francisco, CA; one granddaughter, Dana Isaac; one brother, Jim Scott and wife, Angela of Newton, MA; and a brother-in-law, Robert Hunter of Pratt, KS; and by numerous nieces and nephews. The Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be recited on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, April 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m., Our Lady of Annunciation, 2621 Vermont NE (Lomas and Claremont). Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
