Antonia G. Phillips, a life long resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away after a long illness on Monday, April 2, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Phillips; mother, Carmen F. Garcia; father, Brijido Garcia and sister, Mary Baca. Antonia was a graduate of UNM where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. Antonia was always very creative enjoying her painting, sculpting, and pottery. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Antonia is survived by her daughter, Bridget and husband Pat Maldonado; sons, Frederick and wife Gayle Phillips and Charles and wife Louella Phillips; grandchildren, Genevieve, Veronica, Toby, Adam, Patrick, and Ashley; great grandchildren, Trinity, Cassandra, Rashad and Isaiah; brothers, Ignacio and wife Donna Garcia and Johnny and wife Kathy Garcia; brother-in-law, George Baca and many other relatives and friends who loved and will miss her. A Memorial Service will be held at Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW. in Albuquerque, on Wednesday, April 11th, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery off Coors and Arenal SW.
