Obituary for BRODERICK

Dr. Thomas Eugene Broderick, age 74. Peacefully passed away March 22,2007 at home with family at his side. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Antoinette, and his nine children; Erin and Steve Levick, Tina Broderick, Matthew and Paula Broderick, Michael and Kimberly Broderick, Melinda Broderick and Wade Abuchon, Thomas and Lyn Broderick, Kathleen (Nitter) Broderick, Kevin and Karrie Broderick, Jes and Wes Bigney and grandchildren; Conner, Morgan, Sydney, Kevin, Sean, Spencer and Krisztina. Thomas was born in Cincinnati Ohio. He attended Xavier University and went to medical school at the University Cincinnati. He graduated from the university of Cincinnati in 1958. Tom did his public health service in Arizona and developed a love for the southwest. He completed his training in anesthesia in 1963 from the University of Indiana, and then moved his family to NM where he worked at St. Joseph's Hospital for 30 years. He retired in 1996 and traveled the US by car. He was proud that he rarely used the interstate, preferring small back roads and towns. He loved his family, fishing, the History Channel, mystery novels, Opera and the hunt for the ultimate bargin. HE WILL BE MISSED. A funeral mass will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1502 Sara Rd. Rio Rancho, NM on Friday the 13, 2007 at 10:30 am.
