Ruth A Allison, celebrated her 103rd birthday on March 14, 2007 and went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 31, 2007. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde E Allison. She is survived by her nephew, Samuel D. Cowan of Tualatin, OR; and relatives, Jo Roberts and Kelly Buchanan of NC. Ruth's cremated remains will be placed with her husband in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. She was a member of the prominent Whightman newspaper family from Bethany, MO. Ruth had been very active as a precinct chairman and poll worker and was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church. Her local friends included Mildred Johnston, Camille Gibson, Ann Howard and Eileen Lommasson.
