Odie Luna, age 84, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, April 2, 2007, while surrounded by her loving family. She was a lifelong resident of Alameda; and member of St. Therese Catholic Church. Odie is survived by her loving children, Augustine Padilla and wife, Sally, John Luna and wife, Frances, and Chris Luna; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Peggy Scarton, Vivian Perez, and Mae Garcia; brother, Florentino Padilla; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. Odie will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. A Rosary was recited Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Luna, Jr., Augustine Padilla, Jr., Robert Luna, Donald Garcia, Eddie Garcia, and Ray Perez.
